S.S. WINIMAC  (London)  -  WW2

S.S. Winimac was sunk on 31 August 1942 by torpedoes fired by German submarine U-66.The ship was hit in the engine room and the tanker burst into flames and sank quickly. The Master, 26 crew members and three gunners were lost. 21 crew members were picked up by Empire Lugard and landed at Trinidad.
