H.M.S. EAGLET - WW1
During WW1, the Royal Navy reserve unit in Liverpool was called HMS Eagle, but in 1918, it was renamed HMS Eaglet to avoid confusion with the new aircraft carrier, HMS Eagle. This original HMS Eaglet was a training ship that had served as the flagship for the Senior Naval Officer Liverpool during the war.
