S.S. STROMBUS (London) - WW1
S.S. Strombus was damaged on 4 June 1918 by torpedo fired by German submarine UC-20. She was en route from Marseille to Port Said with a cargo of boxwood, war material and empty drums. The vessel made it to port and was repaired. Later she was converted into a whaling factory ship and was beached after striking a mine in 1940.
