M.V. NOTTINGHAM (London)  -  WW2

M.V. Nottingham was sunk on 7 November 1941 during her maiden voyage by torpedoes fired by German submarine U-74. After being hit initially, she attempted to ram the submarine but failed and was finished off by further torpedoes.

The master, 55 crew members and six gunners were lost.
