M.V. PANAMA (Liverpool)  -  WW2

M.V. Panama capsized and sank on 11 April 1945 when her engines failed in heavy weather in mid-Atlantic and her sand ballast shifted . She was en route from Cardiff to Philadelphia. Five survivors were picked up on 29 April 1945.
