S.S. EMPIRE CARIBOU (London)  -  WW2

On the 10th May 1941 when on route from London - Loch Ewe - Boston, Massachusetts carrying a cargo of 2,020 tons of chalk and in Convoy OB-318 she was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U-556 and sunk about 465 miles southwest of Reykjanes.
